If you are arriving from anywhere in Europe, there is a good chance you will come in via Birmingham Airport. There are a few ways to get into Birmingham city centre from the airport:

Bus: There are 5 bus services that operate stops at Birmingham Airport. These lines will connect you to some small outlying suburban towns near Birmingham, and also Birmingham City Centre. There is a 24 hour bus operating from the airport to the city centre - look for 97 or 97A buses. It should take you just about 40 minutes to get to the city centre from the airport when using a bus.

Train: You can get into central Birmingham via New Street station within about 10 minutes using a National Rail Service train. There are also trains that connect further afield that leave from the station, and a free shuttle service that will take you between the train station and the airport.

Taxi: There is a licensed taxi rank easily accessed from the airport, that can take you into the city centre quickly. It’s the most convenient way to travel if you are in a large group, or you have unwieldy luggage. It will take from 10 - 20 minutes to get into the city centre, at a cost of about £25.
